200 Hours Cook-A-Thon : Chef Tope Maggie Completes 24Hours Test Run In A Grand Style

Renowned Ogbomoso born Adebayo Adedeji Temitope professionally called Chef Tope Maggie on Tuesday 3rd October, 2023, assisted by Miss Khadija Adeoye, completed his 24hours teat run for the 200 Hours Cook-A-Thon category in the Guinness World Records in a grand style.
The test run which started at 10:00am on Monday October 2nd 2023 ended at 10:00am on Tuesday October 3rd 2023.
According to chef Tope Maggie in a press chat immediately after completing the test run , ” In preparation to the real test of the Guinness World Records 200hours Cook-A-Thon coming up on November 9th 2023 at Recreation Club Ogbomoso, we needed to test all logistics so as to be in a better shape to break the record of the longest cooking hours.of 93 hours.
The test run was to make me and the entire team well prepared,check our strengths and weaknesses ahead of 9th November,2023.
Bringing the World Records down to Ogbomoso and giving back to the society by giving free food to charity are the zeal behind attempting the challenge”
Chef Tope Maggie appreciated the Team Members ably led by the General Manager, Mr Tunji Alabi for the dedication, loyalty and steadfastness.
” Who is Chef Tope Maggie without this Great Minds and my assistants(Khadijat and Ooreofe) ? Who are the Team Members too without God ? I will on this note appreciate God for the grace to making this event a huge success. To all members of the team, I thank you for the unalloyed loyalty, love, sincerity, dedication and proactiveness in making the occasion a huge success. I ma very optimistic of victory ahead and by God’s grace we will become victorious”.
Chef Tope Maggie had his compulsory accumulated 1hour hour rest after the first 12 Hours while his assistant was also replaced with Ooreofe Adebayo.
A total of fifty five different local and intentional delicacies were served to the attendees at the programme while the 350 packs of different meals was also taken to the less privileged homes.
Among those who graced the Cook-A-Thon test run are the Soun of Ogbomoso in-council led by High Chief S.S.Otolorin, Parrot FM management led by Tolu Ikusagba and Isaac Olayiwola , Ogbomoso recreation club led by its Golf captain Chief Pekun Olaleye Armstrong, LAUTECH Community including the Students’Union Government (SUG) representative, business moguls, clerks and people from different works of life were present as well as Chef Topes family, various media houses,friends and well wishers.
Highlight of the occasion was raffle draw and different funny games whose winners got their preferred meals. The DJ and MC were at their best dishing out local and foreign songs for the excitement of those present.
