2022 Workers’ Day Celebration: Senator Buhari Felicitates With The Labour Force For Their Indispensable Roles In Nation Building

The lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District in the Upper Chamber, Distinguished Senator Dr AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari, has felicitated with the labour Force on this day of workers’ Day Celebration for their indispensable roles in nation building, premiumnewsnig.com exclusively reports.

The leading contender in the forthcoming 2023 Oyo State Gubernatorial race under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) made this known in Saudi Arabia where the legislator is performing his Lesser Hajj.

The message reads ;

“On this day that marks the ever resilient and productive Nigerian workers, I sincerely felicitate with the labour force for their indispensable roles in moving this country forward through their creative and industrious sacrifices.

The labour force is the wheel that drives every economy and their roles in nation building can not be overemphasized. It is an undeniable fact that the Nigerian labour force against all odds that are capable of hindering them from being efficient are the ones who keep the economy going.

If there potentials are to be fully utilized for the greater good of the country, there must be good working environment and fair and just remuneration packages that commensurate with their productive efforts. I hereby call on government at all level to prioritize the workers’ welfare.

I would also charge Oyo state government in particular to provide adequate security for the workers in the state so that they can be free to work without the fear of being molested, harassed and endangered which are reoccurring in the state at this time. Their best can only be assured in a secured environment.

I wish the labour the best of celebrations and it is my prayer that God Almighty shall reward them abundantly for their efforts and many sacrifices. Amen.
