2023 Election: Senator Buhari Engages Voters In Irepo And Olorunsogo LGs
..as he implores party faithfuls to continue to campaign, educate and sensitive voters across the local governments
The Lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District in the Upper Chamber, Senator AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari Ph.D,continued his engagement with voters in Irepo and Olorunsogo Local government areas today Friday 20th January, 2023, ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
The lawmaker, who doubles as the All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial Candidate for Oyo North in 2023, with his team were at Kisi this morning to continue their voters engagement and campaign exercise for his re-election bid in the coming election.
He started off with a meeting at Sooro community of Kisi before proceeding to Kaara, where he met with the community leaders and other party Chieftains in the community.
The meeting with the market men and women at Kisi market afforded him the opportunity to canvass for votes for all the All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidates in the coming elections.
BAF Omoluabi, as the adjudged most performing lawmaker the district have ever produced since 1999, observed the Jumaat service at Kisi Community Grammar School Mosque, followed by an interactive session with the Progressives Teachers Forum of Kisi, before having am enlarged general weekly meeting of APC, Kisi Chapter.
His brief meeting with the Jooro of Kisi rounded up his consultations at Irepo Local Government Area.
The engagement train of the 5th Best Senator in Nigeria, by Bills Productivity, left for Igbeti town in Olorunsogo Local Government Area for further consultations where he was warmly received.
At Igbeti, Senator Fatai Buhari met with the Seriki Zango and his chiefs as well as the Hausa and Fulani community respectively.
The visit afforded the Senator the opportunity to speak on some of the dividends of democracy he has brought to some constituents in these local governments and what he intends to bring on board ,if given another mandate to represent Oyo North Senatorial District again in the forthcoming elections.
The Chairman, Senate Committee On Land Transport admonished party faithfuls to continue to campaign, educate and sensitive voters across the local government areas, not in these local governments alone but Oyo North Senatorial District at large.
Senator Buhari appreciated in no small measures the royal reception and wide acceptability of his entourage.
