The lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District in the Upper Chamber, Distinguished Senator Dr AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari, has joined millions of well wishers to felicitate with Senator Olalekan Balogun on his appointment as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland,premiumnewsnig.com reports.
This was made in a release by the lawmaker through his media office.
The release read thus ;
“Following the announcement of the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Senator Moshood Olalekan Balogun Ph.D, Ali Okunmade II by Oyo State Government. I congratulate His Imperial Majesty, Olubadan-in-Council, Mogajis, generality of people of Ibadanland and Oyo State on the successful appointment of the new Paramount ruler of Ibadan, which is the will of Almighty Allah”.
The 2023 gubernatorial hopeful under the All Progressives Congress (APC) eulogised the new Imperial Majesty as a versatile individual who will further bring development to the ancient city.
” Oba Balogun is a versed and versatile individual whose traditional administration will surely surpass those of his predecessors. Kabiyesi is coming in at the crucial time when divine wisdom and traditional authorities are required to address the incessant insecurity in not only Ibadanland but in the entire Oyo State.
The new Olubadan shall no doubt employ necessary yardsticks to complement efforts of governments at all levels towards having a peaceful and secure Oyo State”.
The workaholic legislator ended by soliciting for maximum cooperation for the his success while wishing him long life in very sound health in the throne.
” I therefore charge the generality of people of Ibadanland and Oyo State at large to work hand in hand with the Olubadan designate, so that peace and unity will continue to reign in every nook and cranny of pace setter state.
