The fifth ranked best senator in Nigeria, Distinguished Senator Dr AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari, representing Oyo North Senatorial District in the Nigeria Senate, has commended the All Progressives Congress (APC) led federal government headed by President Mohammadu Buhari, for the approval for completion of the 52Km Oyo-Ogbomoso section of the Ibadan-Ilorin express road.
In a release by the Oyo State 2023 Gubernatorial Hopeful, Senator Dr AbdulFatai Buhari, and made available to journalists through his Media Office, the lawmaker lauded the Federal government for the humane gestures.
In his words, ” I’m pleased and elated of the approval for prompt completion of Oyo/Ogbomoso section of Ibadan/Ilorin road by the Federal Executive Council led by President Muhammadu Buhari.
” President Muhammadu Buhari through this approval, and upon completion of the road, will have his name crested in the minds of the people of Oyo state, particularly Oyo and Ogbomoso people, who have suffered untold hardships as a result of the neglect of the portion of the road.
“I commend the Federal Government for this well-thought interventions aim at executing important road projects in the nooks and cranny of the country. This will go a long way to boost the economy of the country at large, the unprecedented performing senator posited.
The approved road is among the twenty one (21) others that was approved by the Federal government at the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, to be embarked upon in the six (6) geographical zones of Nigeria.
