The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State had an all inclusive stakeholders meeting at the Oke Ado party Secretariat in Ibadan on Friday ahead of the state congress slated for Saturday .
At the meeting, Hon Gambo, the Chairman of the Congress Committee, handed over the results of the ward and local government congress results to the outgoing Chairman, Chief Akin Oke, ahead of the state congress coming up tomorrow Saturday 30th October, 2021.
Earlier in his address, Gambo advised all those expected to be at the congress to be at the avenue.
In his words, ” either consensus or no consensus, all party stalwarts, delegates and aspirants are expected to be at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium (Liberty) on Saturday 30th October, 2021, venue of the congress, Gambo ended.
One of the party stakeholders (name withheld) who spoke after the meeting said,” we are progressives and we will follow the right path towards having a hitch free congress. All we want is having competent hands that will work progressively and loyally so that we will take over governance in Oyo State, democratically, in 2023 and beyond.
