Distinguished Senator Dr AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari, the lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District in the Nigerian Senate, attended the Fidau Prayers for the Late Soun Of OgbomosoLand, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi, JP CON CFR, Ajagungbade III, who joined his ancestors in the early hours of Sunday 12th December, 2021 at the age of ninety five (95)
The Fidau Prayers was held today 19th December, 2021 at the Soun Palace with creme de la creme personalities in attendance.

It will be recalled that Senator Buhari moved a motion in respect of the late monarch on the floor of the Senate on Tuesday 14th December, 2021 where a minute silence was being observed to honour the late King.
The President and Chairman of the 9th Assembly, Senator Ahmad Lawan and other senators agreed that a delegation of the Nigerian Senate will be asked to pay a condolence visit to the family of the late Soun and the entire people of Ogbomoso.
