FGN Covid-19 Palliative: Senator Buhari’s 260 Constituents Get Paid.
The two hundred and sixty (260) selected constituents from Oyo North Senatorial District, whose names were submitted by the Distinguished Senator Dr AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari representing the district, for the Federal Government Covid-19 Palliative through the Federal Ministry Of Works, have been paid, content/uploads/2022/01/IMG_20220105_211046-158×300.jpg” alt=”” width=”158″ height=”300″ class=”alignnone size-medium wp-image-23782″ />
Each of the selected twenty (20) constituents from each of the thirteen (13) local government areas of Oyo North have been credited the sum of Sixty Thousand Naira (#60,000:00) totalling Fifteen Million Six Hundred Thousand Naira (#15.6m).
While some of the beneficiaries called and sent text messages to Senator Buhari to appreciate him for his unprecedented representation , others also called some of his aides in this regards to shower encomium on the lawmaker for this astonishing gestures.
One of the beneficiaries, Rahmon Saka from Ogbomoso North Local Government spoke with PremiumNews. Ng about the surprise package.
” It was like a dream when I got the alert. For a few minutes, I was speechlessly looking at my phone. I thank Senator Buhari for counting me worthy of this privilege and all those who made this possible. I pray that Allah will guide and guard him to the highest places. May Allah keep our President more safe”, Rahmon Saka said.

In a similar reaction, Salaudeen Mohammad from Saki West eulogised the lawmaker and prayed for Allah’s grace and favour upon at all times.
” This is the first time I am hearing of this Federal Government Palliative and I feel so much happy to be a beneficiary. Senator Buhari keeps proving how responsible and responsive he is with his uncommon qualitative representation. We have not had it this good in Oyo North since inception of democracy in Nigeria in 1999. I pray that Allah’s grace and favour will be upon him at all times. I also pray that President Muhammadu Buhari will live long in very sound health to see Nigeria become great”, Salaudeen posited.
The 2023 Oyo State Gubernatorial Hopeful under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress (APC) reiterated his continuous determination to always put smiles on the faces of his constituents by bringing dividends of democracy to their doorsteps through qualitative representation.
Recall that Senator Buhari, aside giving financial supports for education and for community development in Oyo North, the lawmaker has equally trained over six thousand constituents in various fields like farming, ICT, cosmotology, barbering, tiling, soap making, to mention but a few.
