Senator Fatai Buhari Flags Off The Construction Of Facilitated Isalu/Ikere Gorge Dam Road, Inspects Ongoing Transformer Project Sites In 8 Communities

Distinguished Senator Dr AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari , the legislator representing Oyo North Senatorial District today, Tuesday 8th March, 2022, flagged off the long abandoned Isalu-Ikere Gorge Dam Road he facilitated to Iseyin.

According to the limit breaking Senator, ” It was a historic and joyous moment today, March 8th 2022 at the ancient city of Iseyin in Oke Ogun zone of Oyo State where I flagged off the construction of the Isalu/Ikere Gorge Dam Road I facilitated to the town.

“The road had over the years defied interventions resulting to stagnancy of economic activities within the axis. Fixing the road has potential of making life more meaningful for the people of that axis. It is one of my campaign promises to the people of Iseyin and I am delighted that my effort in getting approval for the construction of the road paid off.

“At the official flag off today, the contractor who had been mobilized and commenced work immediately on the road assured me, community leaders and members who graced the occasion a durable and speedy completion of the work.

“A visibly happy chairman of Iseyin Descendants Union (Home Branch), Alhaji Ibrahim Gbeko and his counterparts, Mr Morufu Osunpaimo, Chairman, Iseyin Council Society (Home Branch) and Alhaji Raji Bello (Olowoeko), Chairman Isalu Community all took turn to appreciate my modest efforts and sincerity in delivering of my campaign promises in Iseyin and Oyo North at large.

“Other dignitaries present at the flag off are traditional chiefs which include Ikolaba of Iseyin, Onikosa, Ogbee of Isalu, Baale Omojoda, Balogun Koso, Jagun Isalu amongst other.

The lawmaker tok time to equally inspect the right (8) communities in Iseyin where transformers are to be installed.

” I also took time to inspect work progress at the communities that transformers will be installed in Iseyin town, below are the communities that were earlier certified and visited today;

1. Temidire/Shabab area, Oju Baba
2. Aponmakoro beside The Pen College,
3. Temple, Atori Area,
4. Omojoda, Stadium Road
5. Sawmill Abaletu.
6. Oorelope community opposite Arolas petroleum.
7. Ago- Aluwaya Area
8. Temitope Estate.
