The Development Of My Constituency Is My Utmost Priority – Abdulrasheed Olanrewaju Ariwoola

The Iseyin-Itesiwaju State Constituency Hopeful in the forthcoming elections under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Surveyor Abdulrasheed Olanrewaju Ariwoola has reiterated that the good governance being enjoyed by people living abroad can be reciprocated here in Nigeria, thus his selfless reasons why he is vying for the post to represent the good people of Iseyin and Itesiwaju at the Oyo State House Assembly come 2023.

The Professional Land Surveyor who works with the United States Army Corps of Engineers stated this in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, while featuring on the popular radio programme tagged” State Affairs” with Edmund Obilo on Splash 105.5 FM, premiumnewsnig.com reports

According to Ariwoola, ” I belong here and developing my immediate constituency and the larger Nigerian society has always been my utmost priority and this is why I come home most often from the States. We have intelligent Nigerians all over the world, infact,we have at least a Nigerian on the list of every best five (5) staff in most organisations in the USA and other countries of the world. We succeed as an individual so we can make our community good too but the first is to join the process.

The process of electing or appointing candidates for elective positions has always been tedious so choosing right candidates have not been easy and this is why our communities and nation at large remain underdeveloped.

On his chances of emerging as the party flag bearer in the coming elections, Ariwoola said, ‘ though there are many candidates that want to vy for the same position. For instance, the present occupant of the seat , a PDP member, is recontesting. We have others too but my chances of picking the ticket is high with the wide consultations made so far and still ongoing, Insha Allah.

The Master’s degree holder from the University of Maryland in Geospatial Information Science, who rebuffed the insinuations of some people that it is their turn to represent the constituency at the state level because of their decades of being in politics, Ariwoola said,

” it is not about being in politics for decades that matters but the ability and capability to becoming a good public servant that matters because being a good politician does not necessarily translate into being a good political office holder. Examples abound in this regard.

” I assure you that I will come back to tell you that I have been given the ticket, Ariwoola enthused.
