Eid-Al Fitr 2022 : Senator Buhari Urges All Muslins To Continue With Their Admirable Gestures

The legislator representing Oyo North Senatorial District in the Hallowed Chamber, Distinguished Senator Dr AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari, has charged all Muslims to continue with their admirable gestures which became part of them during the Holy Month of Ramadan, premiumnewsnig.com exclusively reports.

The leading contender in the forthcoming 2023 Oyo State Gubernatorial race under the umbrella of the All Progressive Congress (APC) made this known in his message from Saudi Arabia where the lawmaker is performing his Lesser Hajj (Umrah).

“I celebrate with Muslims all over the world on the end of the holy month of fasting, Ramadan, yesterday, an appeal has gone to those in Nigeria to sustain their spiritual attainments even after the month.

During the just concluded month of Ramadan, Muslims observed a strict fast and participate in various pious activities such as charitable giving/Sadaqah, peacemaking, Qur’an recitation, Zikr, Tarawih/Qiyamul-lail. It was a time of intense spiritual renewal for those who observed it.

At the end of Ramadan, Muslims throughout the world broke their fast and celebrate their accomplishments in Eid-ul-Fitr with members of their families in their best way.

I charge Muslims particularly those in Oyo State to continue with those admirable gestures being put into practice throughout the holy period of Ramadan.

I therefore congratulate the Muslims in Oyo North, Oyo State and Nigeria at large on the successful completion of Ramadan fasting while i pray that God shall accept all their dealings in the holy month as acts of worship”.
