Representation or law making is primarily concerned with making human friendly laws that will be of great benefit to the generality of the masses, performing oversight functions and giving back to the electorates in the forms of dividends of democracy.

Aside having sound education, humility, having the people who voted you in mind and being focused to make this happen as a legislator, the ability to lobby, having wide range of connections or influences and in some cases being generous, get the job well done in the Nigeria Parliamentary System.

It should also be noted that having a prior political experience as an executive or legislative member has always been an added advantage.

Does Honourable Olamijuwonlo Alao Akala posses any of these qualities to make him excel if voted in come 2023 to represent Ogbomoso North/South/ Oriire Federal Constituency?

Yes.

Right from inception of democracy in 1999 to date, the various lawmakers who have represented the zone have performed brilliantly well and have equally set the pace for responsible and responsive representation in Ogbomoso North/South/Oriire Federal Constituency.

This is one the reasons why we need the like of Olamijuwonlo Alao Akala to continue with the good works exemplified by his predecessors and not anyhow inexperienced person.

Despite not holding any political offices by these politicians before coming on board as lawmakers, it will be ingratitude of the highest order if the efforts of his predecessors, Distinguished Senator Fatai Buhari, Hon Mulikat Akande Adeola, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi and the serving legislator, Hon Capt Jacob Ajao Adejumo are not appreciated for their giant strides in the constituency.

If they could perform excellently well, I am convinced that Honourable Olamijuwonlo Alao Akala will perform much better than them base on certain factors.

As a political analyst and a real player with a vast knowledge of the political system in the locality, I opine that Honourable Olamijuwonlo Alao Akala has all it takes to perform excellently well than his predecessors when he comes on board in 2023 to represent the good people of Ogbomoso North/South/Oriire Federal Constituency.

Aside his very sound education background from a reputable university in Nigeria and his second degree outside the shores of Nigeria, his political experiences as the former Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government, which non of his predecessors had, and his active involvement in political activities in the state and national levels gives him an edge.

As a local government chairman, he constructed roads within the locality which are still in good shapes, facilitated the employment of people within the state and federal levels, took care of the aged and teeming youths, gave scholarships , settled many hospital bills, to mention but a few.

The next article will focus on his achievements and what he has been able to do for the good people of Ogbomoso in his own little ways.

El Em Jay (LMJ), as he is being called by his supporters, is Oloore (benefactor) himself aside being Omo Oloore (son of a benefactor), His Excellency, Late Otunba Dr Christopher Adebayo Alao Akala, the adjudged great benefactor who touched the lives of almost all families in Ogbomoso, positively.

LMJ, has touched and he is still touching many lives positively in his own little ways through his philanthropist gestures. So buying his ways to getting things done to bringing dividends of democracy to his constituents would not be an issue.

Unconfirmed rumours even have it that LMJ presented the serving legislator representing Ogbomoso North/South/Oriire Federal Constituency, Hon Capt Jacob Ajao Adejumo, to his late father who gave him his unalloyed supports and political structure to ensuring he won the 2019 elections in the constituency.

Is that why Captain Ajao is being called Oyato Junior ?

It takes large heartedness and extra kindness to have done that anyway if the assertion is true.

May the soul of the late Oyato and ATM Governor, the Otun of the Source, His Excellency, Adedayo Alao Akala rest peacefully.

LMJ does not know the road to making his lofty dreams for his constituents come to fruition. After all, whoever that must know the road to greatness must follow the person who has plied that road successfully, so they say.

His closeness and humble learning from the person who has served in the House of Representatives before and who also doubles as the Current Best Senator in Oyo State, Best Senator in South West and the Fifth (5th) Best Senator in Nigeria, in person of Distinguished Senator Dr AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari is a pointer that LMJ will succeed as our next House Of Representatives Member come 2023 and beyond.

The name Akala cuts across the nooks and crannies of Nigeria and the coming on board of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the incoming President of The Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2023, had a very good relationship with his late father, is an added advantage.

So, LMJ is expected to ride on the good reputable name of his late father and harness all possibilities therein in ensuring more dividends of democracy are facilitated to his constituency, with God favouring his ways.

The best way to repay kindness is showing kindness in return.

And the best way to repay the kindness of the Late Adebayo Alao Akala for his uncommon large heartedness to all and sundry is speaking in one voice as a people to vote en mass to ensure that we elect his scion, Honourable Olamijuwonlo Alao Akala as our next representative in the Lower Chamber in the forthcoming 2023 elections.
