Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala: A Political Ambassador Anchoring New Dawn of Grassroots Politics In Ogbomoso
More than anything, citizens in Nigeria’s politics need leaders that will recognize their relevance in the polity beyond the common spectrum of “give and take” which has been overused by the leadership of impostors and those with fabricated intentions.
Amidst the scarcity of profound leadership, Providence brought Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala to fill the vacuum that the lack of credible representatives that value the general public to the point of carrying them along or consult the people in need in order to be confident of what to bring to cater for their needs and to wet their hopeful democratic appetites.
It is worthy of note that the coming of Olamijuwonlo into politics is not a blunder nor is the acceptance of him by the esteemed people of Ogbomoso a wrong decision. Ogbomoso people are known far and wide for their great wisdom and highly effective foresight; they have weighed the costs and have studied the history, they have seen that the wisest judgment is to pledge their support to the young political genius.
Meanwhile, it’s not controversial that just as the Late political colossus, Adebayo Alao-Akala loved Ogbomoso with all his strength, the people of Ogbomoso loved and still love him endlessly. The extension of this spectacular love is the political pedestal that “Adebayo Jr.” Is opportune of and which he is jealousy making best of. Nonetheless, it would be extremely wrong to consider Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala “opportunistic” because he has presented himself over and over as a profound young man whose love is people, the development of the society, and ambassador of hope to many. He has never presented himself to be an individual who only banks on his father’s achievement but as an ambitious man who has his quota to disburse to the growth of the community.
In the recent conversation he had with the people of Ogbomoso at his Randa Residence, he made known while answering a question that was asked to know what he will do differently hopefully if he is elected to the position he’s aspiring for. It was noteworthy and striking that Olamijuwonlo is a spitting image of his father as he emphasized that his representative will be extremely different from past leaders because his project will be “issues-based” and not a “guess-based project”, every community will be consulted to know their pressing needs and each need will be catered for accordingly. ” We won’t sustain a system that will give what will not be useful to the people. Or what is the use of classroom when many have been configured to goats abode nearby?” He asked inquisitively.
He delimits and made discernible the aspect of “change in need” of the people, and brought to broad light the importance of “Quarterly debriefing” in the Constitution that relatively all Federal Representatives have scraped off their dictionary because they couldn’t bear the burden of accountability which is because they are far from it. It was his momentary use of attention grabbing yet vital “rhetoric” that made one of the audience, believably versed in his history to dubbed him another appellation, “Modern Akintola with Sparkle voice”
Just like his father has done, Ogbomoso is about to experience a new phenomenon in the history of representation because Olamijuwonlo is coming with boundless energy, mastery and credibility to bring everybody in the Ogbomoso together to collectively enjoy the dividend of democracy as the community experience massive development. With Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala and you, the future is Now.
