Contrary to live-video done and spread on social media few hours ago, Buhari Abdulfatai Campaign Council (BAFCO) has said that Hon. Shina Peller and others instituted a court case against the emergence of Senator Buhari Abdulfatai as Candidate for Oyo North under the platform of All Progressives Congress but the case was thrown out for lack of jurisdiction as the applicants lacked locus standi to institute the action.
The Council, in a release issued by its Director of Media and Publicity, Prince Semiu Azeez and made available to Journalists in the early hours of today refuted the video released by Hon. Peller where in he denied instituting court case against APC, Senator Buhari and other stakeholders in the electoral processes.
“Our Council expected Peller to maintain silent instead of making lies on social media to deny his court actions,” the release stated.
It was to be brought to the memory of Hon. Peller that APC made him whom he is today in the political cycle of Nigeria as a current Member of Federal House of Representatives for people of Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Iwajowa and Kajola local government areas.
The Council warned Peller to desist from telling lies always to cover dirtiness that is glaringly known to voters not only in Iseyin Federal Constituency but entire Oyo North.
“Our people are wiser and they can easily differentiate between good and bad, it is not news that you have left the party that gave you the mandate to represent our people, APC, but your representation had shown that you are a failure that should not be entrusted with political office till you make yourself available to how governance is been done, ” the Council stated.
BAFCO thanked God for the success recorded in the court case instituted by Peller and others against Senator Buhari while it stated that it was a victory dedicated to the entire people of the Senatorial District who strongly believe in excellent representation.
The Council stressed “We thank God, the court had solidified the choice of Senator Buhari of APC and so we enjoined our people in Oke Ogun and Ogbomso never to brake the chains of developments being established by Senator Buhari’.
“We advised that our voters should not allow Peller or any other person to deceive them, they should all go out on Saturday, 25th February, 2023 and cast their votes for APC so that the merits of returning Senator Buhari as the Most Ranking Senator from South West can be earnessed to the benefit of all and sundry.
BAFCO charged Peller to accept his failure not only in the court case but also in representing the people of Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola Federal Constituency without tangible achievements.
