The lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District in the 10th Assembly, Distinguished Senator Dr AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari, felicitate Kwara South constituents and the good people of Kwara State on the passing away of a friend and colleague, Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim, who represented Kwara South Constituency in the 8th Assembly.
Senator Buhari was on ground at the Ilorin International Airport to receive remains of the deceased colleague, whom he described as a versatile lawmaker who contributed greatly to the success of the 8th Assembly.

” This afternoon, i was at Ilorin International Airport to receive the remains of my friend and colleague, Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim who passed this morning. Senator Rafiu represented Kwara South at the 8th Senate. He was an eloquent and versatile legislator who contributed immensely to the successes of the 8th National Assembly.
Senator Buhari prayed to Allah to grant him eternal life.
“May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest in Aljannah Firdaus”.
Recalled that the 8th Day Friduos Prayer of Alhaja Abeje Buhari, the mother of the Senator Buhari AbdulFatai was held yesterday 16th April, 2024 at Ibapon Compound, Ogbomoso and was largely attended by the who-is-who in the society including the Imperial Majesty, Oba Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye Orumogege III, The Soun Of Ogbomosoland.
