OYO NORTH ROADS APPROVAL : SENATOR BUHARI COMMENDS TINUBU

 

-REITERATES DEDICATION ON ANOTHER FIVE APPROVALS SOON

 

The Distinguished Senator representing the people of Oyo North Senatorial District, Dr. Buhari Abdulfatai has commended President Ahmed Bola Tinubu on his recent approvals of Construction and Reconstruction of two major roads in Oyo North Senatorial District.

 

The lawmaker expressed his appreciation on behalf of his people in Oyo North to President Tinubu in a press release issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Alhaji Semiu Azeez.

 

According to the release, Senator Buhari Abdulfatai who has again secured approval for two major roads in Oke Ogun by the Federal government at the Federal Executive Council Meeting held recently announced that Construction of Okeho – Iganna Road (Km 28 +616 to Km 42+000) and Reconstruction of Iseyin-Okeho Road (Km 000 -19+460) had been approved by President Tinubu.

While declaring that the two major roads are within  Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa /Kajola Federal Constituency, the legislator stated that they are important to social economic development of not only the constituency but the entire Oyo North and Oyo State at large.

 

“The roads are very important to my people and Nigeria as a country as their Construction and Reconstruction will go a long way in harnessing movement of people and goods to different zones in Oyo State,” the release stated.

 

The lawmaker said “on behalf of the good people of Oyo North Senatorial District, my special appreciation goes to President Tinubu, GCFR who gave these requests speedy consideration”.

 

The Legislator prayed that the remaining five roads on his requests enjoy favourable consideration soon by the Federal Executive Council.

 

It shall be recalled that Senator Buhari secured approval of President Tinubu for construction of Saki – Okerete Road just last month.
