Distinguished Senator Dr AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari representing Oyo North Senatorial District, the Oyo State All Progressives Congress (APC)  Gubernatorial candidate in the 2023 general elections, Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin, Senator Yunus Akintunde representing Oyo Central Senatorial District have received the remains of the late Oyo State APC  Chairman, Hon Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu at the Muritala International Airport in Lagos.

Other bigwigs of the party present include but not limited to Hon Olanite Tajudeen, Oyo APC Secretary, Hon Mojeed Olaoya, Hon Olatunji Akogun, Him Shina Alabi, some members of the Oyo APC Elders Council and State executive members of the party.
