Senator Buhari AbdulFatai Ph.D the lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District in the 10th Assembly has felicitated Muslims all over the world on the occasion of Maolud Nabiyy 1446.
In his message to Muslins, Premiumnewsnig.com reports that the lawmaker admonished them to let the Holy Quran and Hidth to be their guiding principles im their daily activities.
His message reads,
I express my heartfelt gratitude to God for the lives of Muslims who are able to witness another birthday of the noble Prophet Muhammad. It is my joy to rejoice with them as they celebrate Maoulud Nabiyy 1446.
Prophet Muhammad is a pious being and the last prophet of God, the legacies he left behind particularly Quran and Hadith should be allowed to guide the dealings of every Muslim in Oyo North, Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
The world will be peaceful if the life of the Prophet can be emulated by everyone looking at his record of patience, perseverance and dedication to the propagation of the religion of Islam and building of ideal human society.
I want to admonish Muslims to use the occasion of Maoulud Nabiyy to pray fervently for peace, unity and prosperity of Nigeria for the benefit of every Nigerian and the yet unborn generation.
May the soul of prophet Muhammad continue to rest in peace and every Muslim in the district shall live longer and healthier to celebrate many of the birthday of the Holy Prophet.
