Senator Buhari AbdulFatai, the lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District in the Upper Chamber, has reiterated his resolve to always put the interest of his constituents as a priority in all his legislative activities.
Senator Buhari stated this yesterday in Okeho Town Hall while addressing Three Hundred (300) Farmers that participated in a one-day training for Farmers selected from 13 Local Government areas in Oyo North Senatorial District.
The 300 beneficiaries (Farmers) who were trained on various methods to preserve their grains during rainy season in other to boost productivity and food sufficiency were later given Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) each as Transport Fare as well as 50 pieces of Hermetic Storage Bags each worth over Fifty Thousand Naira (50,000).
Senator Buhari AbdulFatai, who doubles as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the forthcoming Oyo North Senatorial Election on 25th February, 2023, who was present during the training urged them to utilize the items optimally in other to benefit them economically and improve their farming output in the coming rainy season.
The Chairman, Senate Committee on Land Transport further explained that yesterday’s training was the sixth in series of empowerment programmes designed for the betterment of his constituents. He promised to roll out many more impactful programmes with the aim to putting smile on the faces of his constituents.
While thanking Senator Buhari, the duo of Apostle Ojekunle Edward who is the Chairman, FADAMA Farmers in Oyo State and Alhaji Ahmodu Bello, the Seriki Sanmanni Hausawa who spoke on behalf of beneficiaries admonished Senator Buhari AbdulFatai for always putting the interest of his constituents as a priority. They prayed to God to increase him in wisdom in other to do more for humanity.
