Again, Senator Buhari Trains 250 Oyo North Constituents On Agribusiness As Each Trainee Gets #100,000 Startup Fund

Distinguished Senator Buhari Abdulfatai representing Oyo North Senatorial District has again facilitated another landmark training for 250 constituents on Agribusinesses and opportunities.
The Chairman, Senate Committee On Aviation And Aerospace Development collaborated with Federal College Of Fresh Water Fisheries Technology, New Bussa and EasyStone Project Consultancy Services, to make the programme a possibility.
The three 3 Days intensive programme which commenced on Wednesday 4th September, 2024 and ended on Friday 6th September, 2024 at the Igboho City Hall, Owode Area, Igboho in Oorelope local government area of Oyo State, saw the 250 carefully selected constituents taken through the various aspects of agribusiness.
Hon.Adeyemo Adedeji Abiodun, popularly called Obadoba, who delivered the keynote address of the legislator charged the beneficiaries of the three-days training to utilize the knowledge acquired to improve their economic status, become self reliant and employers of labour to boost the overall Gross Domestic Product of the nation.
While acknowledging the current hardship Nigerians are facing, Senator Buhari disclosed that training of such nature will avail Nigerians opportunities to improve their standard of living.
He stated that the 250 beneficiaries will receive a start up package of one hundred thousand naira (#100,000:00) each and certificate of participation at the end of the three days training.
Hon Adedeji, concluded his address on behalf of the senator by appreciating the good people of Oyo North Senatorial District for their uncommon support, dedication and utmost loyalty at all times. He equally pledged that , as usual, more of these life changing programmes will be facilitated by Senator Fatai Buhari to the benefit of the constituents.
Earlier in his lecture, The Lead Speaker at the training, Dr. Taofeek Owoseni, groomed the participants in areas that included: Accessing Funds for Small Businesses, Sales and Marketing of Agricultural Products, Farm Records and Book keeping, Packaging, Labelling and Branding of Agricultural Produce and Legal Issues and Types of Ownership.
Reacting to the opportunities given through the training, a beneficiary from Iseyin Local government, Mrs Muibi Romoke Monsurat thanked the lawmaker for giving her and other constituents privilege to participate in the training.
According to her, she has been exposed to greater opportunities through which she can become economically independent to cope with the present challenges in the country.
Another participant, Madam Nana Victoria from Ogbomoso South Local government area of Oyo North Senatorial District thanked the facilitator and the organiser of the training as she confirmed that the training has helped her with new opportunities to be a successful business woman in the area of Agribusinesses.
