Ahead Of 2023: Ogbomoso Holds Interdenominational Service For All Political Parties.
The True Worshippers Church (Amazing Grace Chapel ) located at Boode Jerusalem, Oke Aanu area of Ogbomoso,
under the Gods Chosen Servant Pastor Adeniyi Adebayo held an Interdenominational Service for all Political Parties for peaceful 2023 General Elections.
Party chieftains, candidates in the forthcoming elections, leaders, party executives and members of all political parties trooped into the church auditorium to commit their ways unto the Lord for a free, fair, credible and acceptable elections.
The lead Shepherd and organiser of the event charged all politicians to imbibe sane political leadership styles, have the fear of God and exemplify such traits in their daily activities.
Reading from the Bible in the book of Daniel 5:1-14 with special emphasis on verse 14, Pastor Adeniyi Adebayo implored all politicians to have very deep reflections on three (3) main things, namely, reputation , worshipping in the light and having spiritual fathers for spiritual coverage from seen and unseen negative forces.
In his words, ” what people say about you matters so much as politician because the better your reputation the more follower one is bound to have. Good name is so great to have first as a politician. You can’t work in the dark and expect to go far in life and political. All of you must work in the light and ensure to have a true spiritual father to be covering you up against dangerous forces”
Some invited men of God from various denominations prayed for the growth and development of Ogbomoso,Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole while some prayed for Gods Chosen Servants that will put smiles on the faces of the people, develop and make our society worth living to emerge in the forthcoming general elections.
Honourable Odebunmi Dokun Segun, Bunvic, the lawmaker representing Ogo Oluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency in the Lower Chamber and the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the forthcoming elections
who spoke on behalf of all parties thanked the organiser of the event.
” We say a big thank for thing great move. I think this is happening for the first time in Ogbomoso. It’s a great move to foster unity and love. God knows who will emerge but we are all waiting for the physical confirmation. I pray that the God chosen, from Presidency to the State Houses of Assemblies, who will make things easy for the citizens will emerge”.
The event saw the presentation of a book titled, ” Understanding Politics From Spiritual Perspective ( Effective Community Leadership) by Adeolu Afolabi to all political leaders and members.
Pastor Adeniyi Adebayo thanked everybody present and those who could not attend the event for the show of love to serve sincerely for the growth and development of our society.
He concluded his closing remarks by promising to make the event an annual event.
