Distinguished Senator Buhari Abdulfatai has condoled with the family of a core progressive and former chairman of Atisbo local government, Hon. Wasiu Akeeb a. k. a Akogun whose death occurred in the early hours of today, premiumnewsnig.com gathered.
The leading contender in the All Progressive Congress )APC) in the 2023 Oyo State Gubernatorial race, in a condolence message to the family and All Progressives Congress, Atisbo local government area of Oyo State made available to journalists, identified the deceased Akogun as a young and focused politician who contributed memorably towards the growth of his council area.
“It’s unfortunate that we lost a brother who was ready to contribute greatly to the betterment of not only his community but the entire Oke Ogun, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole”, Senator Buhari said.
He prayed for the soul of Hon. Wasiu to rest in peace as he added that God shall grant the family he left behind the fortitude to bear the loss.
The lawmaker also sympathised with APC in the local government and State at large while he prayed that Allah will curtail the reoccurrence of such among the leaders and members of the party.
