APC Chieftain, Hon Prince Olakanmi Adepoju, Donates Borehole To Community

…promises to bring more impactful projects to his people

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Hon (Prince) Olakanmi Adepoju has donated a motorized borehole at Atobatele Compound, Oja Oba community in Ijeru area, Ogbomoso in Ogbomoso South Local Government.

The commissioning which was made in the earlier hours of today Saturday 15th July,2023 amidst funfair saw residents of the community troop out in their large numbers in celebration of this great feat that has been a major challenge to the people living in that area for decades.

The Magaji Atobatele Compound Ijeru who represented the donor appreciated the kind gesture of Prince Olakanmi Adepoju, popularly called Okikiade by his teeming supporters.

According to Magaji, ” I am the happiest man on earth today. God has used Olakanmi to put an end to our annual suffering. It is always tough during the rainy season but we thank God. The land is rocky here so it has been so difficult to get water here. It is so costly but we thank God. He has also promised to do more things that will be of immense benefit to the community. I pray that God will continue to elevate him and place him in positions that will make him to bring impactful projects to the larger community”,

The Otun Ogoro Onpetu, Chief Felix Olayinka Adelakun who represented the Onpetu of Ijeru land , Oba Sunday Oladapo Oyediran, Lagbemi Osekun, was delighted at the Philantropic gesture of Okikiade and implored others to emulate him.

” Kabiyesi Onpetu is out of town for official assignment that is why he could not attend this laudable project. This is a huge project because drilling borehole on this rocky land is not a joke. Coming at this challenging period is very commendable and this shows how loving, selfless and committed the donor is. This is a great challenge to others . This is worth emulating for the progress of the land. God will prosper the donor in ways he can never imagine. Drinking this water will not cause any form of calamity to anybody by the Special Grace of God, Chief Olayinka enthused.

Earlier, Reverend Olusanjo Stephen Ilufoye of Ijeru Baptist Church, quoting from Psalm 24:1-5 and John 4:15 admonished the attendees to depend on God for only Him can give us what no man can give because He owns the earth and all that is within.

” The earth is the Lord and the fullness thereof , so whoever that needs any accomplishment in life must belong to Him. We will always be thirsty for water at some points in time but drinking the water of life from God will never make us thirsty for anything because God will supply our needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus”.

A prayer session was held to pray for Kabiyesi the Onpetu of Ijeruland, Atobatele family, Ijeru community, Ogbomoso,Oyo State and Nigeria at large.

A special prayer was said for Hon (Prince) Olakanmi Adepoju,the financier of the project and his immediate family.

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress APC in Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South a d Oriire Local Governments, party members, Okikiade Political Family, community leaders and elders, market men and womwn as well as immediate family members were present to grace this epoch making occasion.

Hon (Prince) Olakanmi Adepoju, an ICT specialist based in the United States of America is a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) with strong political base in Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Oriire Local Governments.

Okikiade, as he is fondly called by his teeming supporters is a non desperate party politician whose financial contributions to the party in the last general elections will forever be appreciated.

Aside donating three (3) Sienna Buses for the use of the party and giving huge cash to the campaign councils in Ogbomoso North, South and Oriire Federal Constituency the the last general elections, Okikiade has always been available to put smiles on the faces of party members during festive periods and when occasions demand.
