CHRISTMASS 2021: SENATOR BUHARI URGES CHRISTIANS TO PRAY FOR PEACE IN NIGERIA
As Christians across the globe celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, Senator Buhari Abdulfatai of Oyo North Senatorial District has admonished Christians to use the joyous occasion to pray fervently for peace in every nook and cranny of Nigeria.
Senator Buhari gave the advice in his Christmas message to Christians in Oyo North and Oyo State in general copy of which was made available to journalists today.
According to him, the birth of Jesus Christ was a pointer that he was a special being and the memorable sacrifice made by him for others to live a sinless lives was worthy of emulation.
While felicitating with Christians on the 2021 Christmas celebration, Senator Buhari appealed that they should all celebrate the season with utmost moderacy and show outstanding love to their fellow human beings irrespective of their differences.
He added that as they have begun gathering in Churches for Carol and other activities marking this year’s Christmas, they should adhere strictly to COVID-19 protocols while he prayed that they shall all live long to celebrate many of the season in the sound health.
Senator Buhari wished all Christians happy Christmas celebration and new year in advance.
