Community Service : Thank You Captain Jacob Ajao Adejumo.

Most politicians in this part of the world , developing nations, do not really know what they are in the public service for.
Some even think being in public service is all about garnering Chieftaincy titles , moving about with convoys and turning themselves to photographers. Their major priority after getting political power is self enrichment so when we have few of them like Honourable Ajao Jacob Adejumo doing well, it is a must to appreciate them, the same way we will do when they underperform.
The road to my house is the major lane that connects the majority of inhabitants of Apata Igbala Avenue at Safejo area in Ogbomoso, a fast developing area.
Over the years it has been contributions by the settlers , like other communities do, that we depend to grade this bad road and other roads in the area to make it motorable.
In 2019, I was opportune to be around to witness the grading of some roads in my community.
In the afternoon , the workers will sit beside my fence and relax before continuing with their day job so I had the opportunity to interact with them and it was through that, that I got to know it was Honourable Ajao Jacob Adejumo, the lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North/South/Oriire Federal Constituency, that has been helping us.
The workers spent two (2) weeks grading almost all the roads in this community before proceeding to other areas.
My findings later revealed that Captain Ajao has been giving many communities access to motorable roads over the years with his personal grading machine before coming on board to represent the good people of his constituency in the lower chamber.
Just few months ago, some roads in my community started wearing a new look with asphalt and quality drainage system from the Federal Ministry Of Works ( Special Project Unit).
The information at my disposal is that by next year more roads in the community will receive the attention of the President Muhammadu Buhari led All Progressives Congress (APC) administration.
I was marvelled to hear that Captain Ajao was instrumental to these life touching community services.
Honourable Ajao Jacob Adejumo, did not only stop at that , he went ahead to give few numbers of solar street lights to brighten up a section of the road with a promise of giving the community more solar street lights.
Thank you, Captain, for these humane gestures to our community.
Keep building schools, keep lightening up more communities, keep driling more boreholes, keep giving more communities accessible roads, keep giving more jobs, keeping training and empowering the people more and I am very sure that very soonest you will facilitate more federal government projects to our constitiency.
Captain Ajao, thank you for representing us well and making Ogbomoso proud.
