Democracy Day : Senator Buhari Charges Leaders To Sustain The Tenets Of The Democratic Doctrines…….Urges Electorates To Support And Cast Their Votes For Tinubu

Distinguished Senator Dr AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari, the lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District in the Upper Chamber has charged all Nigeria leaders to sustain the doctrines of democracy in his message to felicitate with the masses on this day of Democracy.

In his release, the standard flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming 2023 Senatorial Election in Oyo North district who win with 570 votes said, “As Nigerians mark another democracy day today, I want to call on our leaders to sustain the tenets of the doctrine by ensuring peaceful transition as 2023 general elections draw nearer.

The legislator eulogised the late MKO Abiola for paying the highest democratic pric which Nigerians are enjoying today.

“Truly Late Moshood Kasimaawo Abiola was synonymous to June 12 in Nigeria as a result of his selfless sacrifice to the emergence of democracy in the country. Bashorun M.K.O Abiola remained the President-elect by Nigerians across religious and tribal groups but denied the opportunity to rule by the military then. Unfortunately we lost him but his footprint remained unforgettable in the governance of our dear country, Nigeria”.

The best performing senator in Oyo State, Senator Buhari, further pleaded with the Nigerian masses to support the aspirations of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a replica of MKO Abiola, in the 2023 general elections.

” God has given Nigerians a replica of Abiola whom he identified as the Presidential Candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. I charge the electorates in the country to support and cast their votes for him so that he can become the next President of the country.

Even though our democracy in recent times has been challenged by insecurities that had claimed lives of many Nigerians. Therefore we all should gear up and support those who will take the bull by the horn and proffer solutions to this and several others facing the country.
