Desperate Politicians And Politics Of Bitterness, Division, Selfishness And Incision ; A Case Study Of Hon Shina Peller

The recent outburst by Hon Shina Peller, the lawmaker representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa in the Federal House of Representatives, in his recent interview at Ore TV, has been described as the last straw of a sinking politician whose fruitlessly tireless attempt to distort the peaceful political co-existence of Oke Ogun and Ogbomoso is not only demeaning, unscrupulous and insensitive but a desperate move by an over ambitious ingratitude public servant to incite the people of Ogbomoso and Oke Ogun against each other.

Hon Shina Peller, needs to be referred to the election results of the senatorial district from 1999 to 2015 to show how Ogbomoso has equally helped his own to emerge into the Upper Chamber to represent Oyo North Senatorial District , even though with little or nothing to show for it in the 13 local government areas of the district when Nigeria was super rich and they had the son of the soil as the majority leader of the Nigerian Senate.

Hon Shina Peller, records abound that you have been the worst in terms of bringing dividends of democracy to the constituents amongst those who have represented Oke Ogun in the House of Representatives since the inception of democracy .

Worse to the extent of employing your legislative aides from outside your constituency that brought you into power and deceiving them with a jamboree and wasteful football competition.

Has Hon Shina Peller forgotten so soon how he came on board prior to the 2019 elections to represent Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency

Olowoidan, need to be reminded how the real owners of his mandate were pleaded to step aside for him even though these set of people he never remembered for any gesture to date.

So sad that they sad ” won o ni jere re, won si jere re na” .

Hon Shina Peller was busy getting Chieftaincy titles and flexing about with their commonwealth when other politicians were working day and night on how to get their delegates for the primary elections only to come and distort the peaceful process of the senatorial primary election in Iseyin, his home town.

He needs to be reminded that the era of believing and using thuggery, hooliganism, defamation of co aspirants,
making noise on social media through his paid agents has gone down the drain. Any politician that wants to win election need to do extra work by convincing the electorates of his/her antecedents and achievements.

How he blackmailed and wanted to harm Hon Oladimeji Atanda Azuzu, Hon Toyin Awodele , Hon Abolade Akanni and many others who stepped on toes to work for his emergence will forever remain evergreen in the sand of time.

The good people of Oke Ogun know those politicians who really love them. They know those very accessible, responsible, responsive and selfless politicians who have constantly been putting smiles on the faces of the constituents and not the deceptive, selfish and desperate politicians who are desperate to get power for personal aggrandisement.

Very unfortunate that the same “jagba” which Hon Shina Peller complained of is the same “jagba” he used to get his Accord Party senatorial ticket , so what has changed ?

Hon Shina Peller, that the same system that brought you to political limelight which you betrayed and it no more favours you does not make the system bad as being painted by you at any slightest opportunity.

Moreover, permit me to state that the senatorial ticket of Oyo North under the All Progressives Congress (APC) which you lost embarrassingly, was conducted in a free, fair and credible manner, as testified by all the national electoral empire and you had the right to approach the appropriate authorities to challenge the outcome if you had any proof to do so instead of your continuous vituperations against the APC.

It is good to clamour for Oke Ogun Lokan but championing the course by a person of your personality at the expense of the many well read, academically sound, selfless and sincere lovers of Oke Ogun bastardizes the whole process, having failed woefully as a legislator.

It is high time you anchored your campaign on issued based like what you have achieved so far, the number of projects you have facilitated and personal projects, the bills and motions you have sponsored, the employments you have given and empowerment/training programmes you have brought to your constituents and what you intend doing if elected rather than inciting these peaceful living zones against each other.

Your campaign of division to cause misunderstanding and divide the good people of Ogbomoso and Oke Ogun is dead on arrival.
