Fakorede, Crown FC, 3SC, football bigwigs, others grace Rasheed Balogun’s 8-day fidau prayer.
The 8-day fidau prayer for the late General Manager of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, was held on Friday at his residence in Mowe, Ogun State.
Oyo state governmemt and the Shooting Stars family were fully represented at the event, witnessed by football administrators, family members, friends, colleagues and neighbours of the deceased among others.
Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Asiwaju Seun Fakorede, led the Oyo State government contingents, which included, the Special Adviser to the governor on Community Relations, Alhaji Ahmed Murtala, Alhaji Danladi Jagaban and a member of the Oyo State Sports Council, Alhaji Quadri Ogundele.
The management team of Shooting Stars was led to the ocassion by the Director of Administration and Supply, Alhaji Rahman Olapade, while the technical crew and the players were led by the Team Manager, Dimeji Lawal (MON).
The 3SC contingent included Chief Coach Edith Olumide Agoye, his assistants, coaches Leteef Yusuf, Kabiru Alausa and Yinka Popoola, Team Coordinator, Adu Akintominiyi, and the players, led by Waheed Omololu, as well as other officials.
The Chairman, Oyo State General Supporters Club, Mr Femi Oyeniyi, chairman, Shooting Stars’ Supporters Club, Mr Femi Ajala and members of the club also graced the event.
Mr Tony Rafua, Mike Idoko, Dosu Joseph (MON), Chairman, Ogun State FA, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi, the General Manager, Gateway United, Mr Niyi Soneye, Gombe United chieftain, Abubakar Dan Fulani, Mr Isaac Ibhafidon, Secretary, Ekiti United, Ayo Olowolafe, were among football administrators who attended the programme.
Remo Stars tactician, Gbenga Ogunbote and other officials of the club, as well as players and officials of Gateway United and Crown FC and supporters of the Ogbomoso based side were also ground.
