HIJRA 1445: Have New Spiritual Targets ~ Senator Buhari Admonishes Muslims
Distinguished Senator Dr AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari, the legislator representing the people of Oyo North Senatorial District has felicitated with Muslims on the occasion of this year 1445 Hijrah. He equally charged them to have new spiritual targets for the year.
This was contained in a congratulatory message to Muslims in Oyo North signed by Senator Buhari and made available to journalists in the early hours of today in Abuja.
According to Senator Buhari, that Muslims in Oyo North witnessed 1445 A. H alive and in good health is a sign that they are favoured and so they should be thankful to God for the gift of existence.
“I thank God for the lives of every Muslim to have witnessed this new year and I pray for them all to enjoy the goodies in the year from the beginning to its end,” the Legislator prayed.
He admonished them to take advantage of the public holiday given to them by governments to celebrate the new year with members of their family and brethren in their communities in their best abilities.
“It’s worthy of celebration but like every other festive period, let’s do it with all sense of moderation. I pray we all see its end with bountiful blessings,” Senator Buhari wished.
