In his bid to contribute to reducing the rate of unemployment in the nation through training his constituents on entrepreneurship, Honourable Captain Jacob Ajao Adejumo, the lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North, South and Oriire Federal Constituency has organised to train some selected constituents on Fishery in Lagos premiumnewsnig.com has learnt.

This medium gathered that Hon Ajao , who doubles as the House of Representatives Vice Chairman on Navy teamed up with the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology to organise the three (3) days training on Fishery Value Chain by the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology in Lagos.

Beneficiaries who received message from FCFMT about the programme are to assemble at the Constituency Office of the lawmaker, beside OriOke Baptist Church, OjaTitun area in Ogbomoso on the 2nd of March, 2022, for onward movement to Lagos for the three days programme.

According to the lawmaker, ” it is better to teach people how to fish than be giving them fish. If you teach them and they become self reliance, they will also teach some other persons and by so doing, you have succeeded in breaking some chains of poverty and unemployment. This is the essence of the many trainings that I have been organising. I implore the beneficiaries to make precious use of the opportunity to start something good in life. I assure you that , like before, more trainings will be organised for my people”, Hon Captain Ajao said.

The lawmaker has been organisng series of trainings and human friendly programmes ever since he assumed office to represent the people of his constitiency.
