Hon Olamijuwonlo Alao Akala Appreciates House Leadership On His Appointment As Chairman, House Committee On Youths In Parliament

The lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Oriire Federal Constituency in the Lower Chamber, Hon Olamijuwonlo Ayodeji Alao Akala, has appreciated the leadership of the House Of Representatives headed by Honourable Speaker Tajudeen Abass on his appointment as the Chairman, House Committee On Youths In Parliament in the 10th Assembly.

The legislator made this known in a release through his Media office in Abuja on Friday 28th July, 2023 PremiumNews.mg reports.

According to OjuOloore, as the lawmaker is being fondly called by his teeming supporters, “I am highly honoured by my appointment as Chairman, House Committee on Youth in Parliament, by the leadership of the House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

My profound gratitude to the Rt. Honorable Speaker, Hon. Tajudeen Abbas for his guidance and support. I thank the Selection Committee for their confidence in me to shoulder this responsibility”.

He further appreciated his constituents for their unalloyed supports all this while.

“My forever appreciation to my Constituents, who have been by my side with their unwavering support and affection. You all remain my family, and I use this medium to reiterate my promise to give you the representation you have always deserved.

I am greatly humbled to lead my fellow vibrant, brilliant, and distinguished colleagues on this maiden journey of representing our community, promoting the representation of youths in legislature, and imprinting our mark on the global stage”.

Until his election to represent the good people of Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Oriire Federal Constituency in the 10th Assembly, Hon Olamijuwonlo Ayodeji Alao Akala, the Vice Chairman, House Committee on Internal Security, was the former Caretaker and Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North local government.

He is the first elected Officer to have have held that political office before becoming a Federal Rep in his Constituency.
