In his continuous bid to promote and reward excellence to his constituents, the House of Representatives Member representing Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Oriire Federal Constituency , Hon Olamijuwonlo Ayodeji Alao Akala has awarded full scholarship to the best student in Ogbomoso with the highest scores in the 2025 Universal Tertiary Metro citation Examination UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions And Matriculation Board (JAMB).
The Chairman, House Committee On Youths In Parliament made this known in a video call to the student ,Adeleke Joshua Adedamola of Smith International Baptist Academy, Seminary, Ogbomoso, his parents and constituents when they visited his constituency office, Destiny House, at Sekoni area, with his parents.

” To commemorate the Children’s Day, I had a video call yesterday with Adeleke Joshua Adedamola, an intelligent boy in my Constituency and a secondary school student of Smith International Baptist Academy, Seminary, Ogbomoso, Oyo State to congratulate him for his outstanding performance at the just concluded JAMB examination, where he scored 350, the best result in Ogbomoso for JAMB 2025.
I also had a productive conversation with Joshua’s parents, Mr and Mrs Adeleke to share in their happiness and commend them on their son exceptional performance.
To that effect, I have awarded a full scholarship to Joshua in any university of his choice in Nigeria. The scholarship will cover his tuition fees for his entire university education.
I am committed to promoting and rewarding excellence in my Federal Constituency and I will continue to create and build an enabling environment for our children and youths to thrive. I believe in Joshua’s potential and I am delighted to be part of his academic journey.
Go out and continue shining star boy, keep the flag flying high and I will be rooting for you”.
It should be recalled that the lawmaker has been making giant strides in the education sector since his assumption to office like construction and furnishing of blocks of classrooms with offices and toilets, giving education support funds to students, payment for over 600 free JAMB Forms and taking full control in the entire process of registration, organizing tutorials in this regard, distribution of HP laptops , training of some carefully selected teachers in his constituency,amongst others.
