Human Capacity Building: Senator Buhari’s 2 Day Tripartite Training Ends Today

The Human Capacity Building Training facilitated by the Distinguished Senator Dr AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari representing Oyo North Senatorial District in the Upper Chamber in conjunction with the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) ended today Tuesday 25th January, 2022, Premium news.ng reports.
The training was held simultaneously in three (3) different centres, Ogbomoso, Iseyin and Saki respectively and over four hundred (400) participants benefited from this laudable programme.
In a release by the lawmaker through his Media Office, Senator Buhari said,
“Today marked the end of the two days tripartite trainings I facilitated in conjunction with National Directorate of Employment for the youth, farmers and women in Oyo North Senatorial District.
The trainings were organised to bridge the digital gap among the youth and equip women and farmers in the district with skill sets in small scale businesses and modern agriculture practices respectively.
The two day training commenced on Monday 24th, 2022 and had scores of youth across the thirteen (13) local government areas converged at Oba Wuraola Hall, Iseyin for training on Information
Communication Technology (ICT)
Simultaneously, over one hundred (100) selected women across the local government areas were at Ogbomoso Parapo Hall, Apake in Ogbomoso for another round of training on small scale businesses.
At the same time, one hundred and fifty (150) selected farmers across the thirteen (13) local government areas of the district had their two day training on modern agricultural practice at IPMAN hall, Isale Taba, Saki.
The tripartite trainings which had a total of over four hundred (400) beneficiaries drawn across the thirteen (13) local government I represent came to an end today at the respective training centres.
Speaking further on the take home by each attendees, Senator Buhari said,
” Each trainee got a certificate of participation and a startup of fifty thousand naira (#50,000:00) each.
It is my belief that capacity building of my constituents will boost their economic potentials which will lead to their improved well beings, hence, I’m committed to that”.
The 2023 Oyo State Gubernatorial Hopeful under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress (APC) , who spoke through his representatives at the various centres implored the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the start capital and knowledge garnered towards making them economically independent.
” Like I charged the beneficiaries through my representatives at the various training centres, they should put into practice the knowledge they have garnered from the two days training to improve their economic well-being. That’s what the training set to achieve and more of it will be organised to capture more constituents”, Omoluabi, as the lawmaker is being called by his loyalists, promised.
