Ige Opeyemi Steve Appointed as New Head Coach of Ogbomoso United FC
The Management of Ogbomoso United Football Club have appointed Coach Ige Opeyemi Steve as the New Head Coach of the NLO 1 side, premiumnewsnig.com gathered.
Coach Ige replaces Niyi Oyekale who left his role as
Head Coach of the Wolekanle Boys late last year for greener pastures.
The New Head Coach,a graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Science and Technology, Ogbomoso, Ige Opeyemi, was born in Esa Oke, Osun State but he is not new to grassroot football activities in Ogbomoso.
Until his appointment, Coach Ige was the Assistant Coach of FC Zenith, Ogbomoso.
Coach Ige equally holds an Advance Coaching Course from the National Institute for Sports (NIS), Surulere, Lagos.
Ogbomoso United, having finished second in the 2021 Nigeria League (NLO) 2 playoffs in Osogbo Center, will be facing a tougher challenge in NLO 1 in the new 2022 season.
The Wolekanle Boys have always sprang surprises and it is no doubt that the young promising lads will keep making Ogbomoso and Oyo State proud in their new challenging tasks.
