Leagues of Imams and Alfas In Ogbomosoland Set For Inauguration Of New Executive Members

Alhaji Abdulganiyu Owodunni, the Aare Musulumi of Ogbomosoland and Chief Executive Director (CED) of Owodunni Conglomerate,  Alhaji Alimi Sarumi, the First Basorun Musulumi Ogbomosoland-(Director Sam Tech.Nig Ltd), Asoju Adini of Ogbomosoland-Alhaji MIkaheel Yusuf, Director Misasco Oils and retired Town Planner, Prince Oladiran Bayewuwon Abdulazeez are set to grace the occasion of the newly appointed officers of the League of Imams and Alfas Ogbomoso Zonal district of Oyo State.

 

Other eminent personalities expected at the inauguration of Ogbomosoland Robitoh are Prince Dr. Buhari Abdulfatai, the  Senator Representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Honourable Olamijuwonlo Alao Akala, Member, House of Representative, Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Oriire Federal Constituency, Honourable George Ogunlade, Ogbomoso North Local Government Executive Chairman , and other top politicians.

Muslim community chairmen from the five local councils in Ogbomoso are expected to be in attendance to be led by Alhaji Abdulateef Bello (Muslim Community Ogbomoso Zonal Leader).

 

The spiritual fathers for the expected glowing ceremony are: Sheik Abeebulah Ahmad Ayilara- The Chief Imam of Soun Palace, Alhaji Sheik Ayinla Muhammed Agbesinga First Khalifah Musulumi of Ogbomosoland , Shiek Ismaheel Olayiwola Busari Grand Mufti of Oyo State , Sheik Usman Mumeen Agbaye-Mukdam- Agba of Oyo State and Alhaji Sheik Abdulahi Federaly Fakharu Ulamanha of Oyo State. Representatives of Muslim Organizations within and outside Ogbomoso are expected to grace the occasion .

 

NACOMYO delegates shall be led by imam Isiaka Woleola Oyo State NACOMYO Deputy Cordinator.TIMSON, NASFAT, QUAREEB, ISMUF, members are all expected to grace the ceremony.

 

News gathered from the outgoing General Secretary of the Islamic Organization (Robitoh) Imam Prince Bello Hasimiyu (Chief Imam of Blinds Training Centre Ogbomoso) informed that, the laudable event is set to hold at the main hall of Robitatul Aimah Walihulamah Ogbomoso Zonal House, Opposite LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso, Oyo State by 11:00 am Promt on Thursday 23 January 2025 (23 Rajab 1446).

 

The League of Imams and Alfas Ogbomoso Robitoh have been contributing and unifying muslims in accordance with Prophet Muhammad sayings (SAW). “*Abu Musa (Peace Upon Him) *reported that the prophet describes Muslims(irrespectives of Sects) to another muslims as a interlacing bricks, enforcing each others”The Prophet used his hands folded to explain the significance of unity otherwise called “Muwwasaat” amongst the Ummah”. This ideology is what Ogbomoso Robitoh is upholding .

 

Some of the accomplishment of Ogbomoso League of Imams and Alfas include: Building of Robitoh Secretariat Complex and dedication of the Complex on February 2, 2022. By His Execellency Alhaji Abdulrauf Olaniyan (Former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, settlement of crevice between Abaa Muslim Community* and Al-Hufauz Islamic Movement on ownership of mosque , re-opening of Abaa Central Mosque, Payment of Indigent students WAEC/NECO examination fees, establishment of shariah and counselling units of Robitoh for settlement of rifts, reversal of Alapo Community Primary school, Ogbomoso to it original identities , interference of peace between a Muslim cleric and Egungun worshiper, amongst others.

 

Shelk Ahmad Olagbedu Zumurah and Shiek Imam Olujide Lukuman (Chief Imam Allahu Lateef Central Mosque) who doubled as Shuurah Committee Chairman and Secretary revealed that, the programme shall encloses: Lecture, admonition and prayers for Robitoh, Ogbomoso and Nation at large,.The present enrolment of the organization is over Two Hundred registered central mosque Imams with Ogbomoso Robitoh.
