Let’s Bury The Hatchet And Work Together For The Interest Of Ogbomoso – Oba Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye, Soun Of Ogbomosoland
The Soun Of Ogbomosoland, His Imperial Majesty Oba Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye, Orumogege III has implored whoever that is aggrieved to bury the hatchet and join hands with him to work in unity for the interest, progress and development of Ogbomoso land.
The 21st newly installed Soun Of Ogbomosoland made this known today 14th September,2023, in his official statement at the Palace after observing the mandatory 7 days traditional rites in the dusk, Premium news.Ng reports.
Part of the statement reads :
” I appreciate God for granting me the grace to see today. I appreciate all the Kingmakers and everybody who made this historic moment possible. God chose me to come and work for the progress of Ogbomoso and I assure you that there will be massive growth and development in Ogbomoso. I am not here to accumulate wealth or oppress anybody or group of persons because God has made me wealthy and famous. I appeal to whoever that is aggrieved to bury the hatchet. Let’s come together in unity to work for the interest of the progress of Ogbomoso”.
Earlier, the paramount ruler took a triumphant walk from Ogbomoso High School area, where mammoth crowd had gathered to join the Kabiyesi. The Kabiyesi in a brown coloured majestic attire was seated in a black Pathfinder Jeep moving slowing and cheering the people of Ogbomoso who had troop out enmass to see their new King.
The tour took Kabiyesi and his entourage, security personnel,pressmen, traditionalists amongst others from Ogbomoso High School through Ahoyaya area, Care-taker area, Seminary and Bowen University Teaching Hospital (formerly Baptist Hospital) roads down to Takie round about before moving straight to Okelerin area then to the Palace where dignitaries were seated to welcome the First Class Oba.
