NIGERIA AVIATION SECTOR NOW AT AN ENVIABLE HEIGHT- SENATOR BUHARI

Senator Buhari AbdulFatai, PhD has stated that the Aviation sector in Nigeria has been taken to a significant high level in terms of professionalism and services to Nigerians.
He stated this today in Ghana at the ongoing Regional Aviation Stakeholders Retreat organized by Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA). Senator Buhari said Nigeria Aviation Sector has done fantastically well on the global stage and urged the operators to maintain such feat.
The Chairman, Senate Committee on Aviation and Aerospace Development appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR for the retreat as well as members of the committees in both chambers of National Assembly for their cooperation in achieving such accomplishments in the Aviation sector.
“An incident happen before this retreat, President Tinubu had banned traveling abroad for any form of retreat but when we got Ministerial approval and our case was sent to him, he approved it because of achievements recorded in the Aviation sector, such feat can not be achieved without you (Members of the Committes in both Chambers) contribution and supports.” He eulogized.
Senator Buhari concluded by calling on regulators to pay more attention to delays and cancellations of flights and to also informed Nigerians on airlines that had been sanctioned and punished because of delays and cancellations as well as calling for punitive measures for any airline that does it consistently.
