The All Progressives Congress stakeholders in Oke-Ogun has unanimously endorsed Distinguished Senator Buhari AbdulFatai for third term during a meeting held yesterday 21st May, 2022 in Saki by Elders, Leaders and Youths from all the 10 local government areas of Oyo North, premiumnewsnig.com exclusively reports.
The stakeholders who issued a communique signed by the Chairman of the occasion and former Special Adviser to late Governor Akala, Hon. Hassan Adeniran Yusuff from Okeho in Kajola LG and the Secretary Hon Surv. Wahab Moshood Adeleke condemned the provocative attacks launched against Senator Buhari by some unscrupulous/aggrieved elements who recently decamped from ADC to APC.
According to Amuda Abiodun(2A), a legislative aide to the performing senator, the group further reminded Oyo North APC stakeholders that the ticket for the district in the party has been zoned to Ogbomoso by reputable leaders of our party after Oke-Ogun had produced the State Chairman of APC and is also expected to produce the Deputy Governorship Candidate.
Speaking inside the Saki Parapo Hall which was filled to the brim (capacity), various stakeholders who took turn one after the other explained that their major reasons for supporting Senator Buhari AbdulFatai was because of his unparalleled achievements and accomplishment that cut across legislative performance, numerous employment for Graduates, infrastructure, health, education, welfare, human development, empowerment, fear of God among others.
The meeting also frowned at the deliberate attempt by some aggrieved Elders who were out to instigate people of Oke-Ogun against those of Ogbomoso with their watery seditious utterances premised on selfish interest, pull-him-down syndrome among other destructive antics.
The group later commended the public support expressed by Senator Teslim Folarin to the 3rd term aspiration of Senator Buhari AbdulFatai and declared total support for his (Senator Teslim Folarin) Governorship ambition under the auspices of All Progressives Congress (APC).
Stakeholders commended the good people of Oke-Ogun for the continuous support to Senator Buhari AbdulFatai and reiterated the need to return him to the Red Chambers in order to place Oyo North in the highest pedestal through a ranking and experienced Senator instead of turning in a fresher or inexperienced individual that will draw the district back.
