Olamijuwonlo Alao Akala; Son of the Horse Master (Ómó Ólokùn ésin)
Have you met Hon Olamijuwonlo Alao Akala? You must have heard about the bold, daring, and fearless young man. His outlook from the outside is unassuming and reserved, but up close and personal, only a few can match his bubbling spirit and witty sense of humor.
Born in the mid 80’s to the Former Oyo state Governor, H.E (Dr.) Christopher Adebayo Alao Akala automatically translates into one thing for him; he was birthed into the political water.
Being the son of the late Governor of Oyo state, he did not allow the luxury, opulence, class, and wealth to stop his personal development and quest for quality education; He had his secondary school education at the Federal Government College Ogbomoso, a school that holds a special place in my heart because I was also opportune to have attended “FEGO”.
“Lamiju continued his higher educational pursuits at Leeds City University, Ibadan, where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer and Information science, he then proceeded to the prestigious University of Buckingham where he bagged a Master’s degree in Service Management.
Hon Olamijuwonlo has traveled far and wide developing himself while also building his astute personality. He has the necessary exposure, education, experience, and motivation to serve the good people of Ogbomoso North, South, and Orire Federal constituency as their mouthpiece at the Federal House of Representatives.
To be candid, I can’t think of anyone better to serve his people than our baba Ibeji, Olamijuwonlo Adebayo Alao Akala.
Apart from gaining colossal experience as the youngest Executive chairman Ogbomoso North has ever produced, coupled with his sojourn into the private sector as chairman of different organizations__notably, the best Radio station in Ogbomoso and one of the best In Oyo state; Parrot FM, it wasn’t a surprise that people close to him fondly refers to him as “the Chairman.”
Chairman is a family-oriented man who has stepped comfortably into the big shoes left by his late father. His strides are overtly commendable and reflect the leadership quality embedded in him by the great Otunba Alao Akala.
Fortunately, having been blessed with lovable twins some months back, Hon Olamijuwonlo Alao Akala is a caring father, a loving husband to his dear wife, a community builder, and a role model to numerous young Nigerians like myself.
He has declared his intentions to run on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) as a member of the Federal House of Representatives, to the delight of the masses and the entire Ogbomoso populace, a town where he has intimidating and ferocious support of the people.
Olamijuwonlo is passionate about good governance and effective representation, he represents the new batch of young and progressive Nigerian politicians who have the utmost interest of the people at heart.
A personal rapport I had with him recently convinced me that he is unarguably the best man for the job, if you’re lucky to engage this man of huge intellect, I can assure you that you will be convinced too.
