His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Ilufemiloye Laoye Orumogege III has been designated as the New Soun of Ogbomosoland.
The renowned Oba Afolabi Ghandi, a United States based Pastor and international businessman of repute, arrived the ancient city of Ogbomoso, Ogbomoso Grammar School,Paku, amidst loud ovation early this morning in a private jet from where he moved to the palace to commence traditional rites.
At the palace this morning, Oba Ghandi was officially installed at the Abata area, which he danced round it seven times,by the kingmakers led by the Areago High Chief Sobalaje Otolorin.
The new king has commenced the traditional rites.
The new Oba is proclaimed His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III.
It will be recalled that the position of Soun of Ogbomosoland became vacant as a result of the demise of His Imperial Majesty,Oba Dr Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi, JP,CON, The Soun Ajagungbade III.
