Today, we mourn a man whose heart was vast, embracing individuals from every political spectrum. Alhaji Aribidesi was a politician with a remarkable capacity for building bridges across party lines. His legacy stretches far beyond Saki, resonating across the entirety of Oyo North. His unwavering dedication to the progress of our region was evident in his selfless advocacy for development.
With his demise, we are left with a void that may not be easily filled in the political landscape. His unique grasp of the intricate dynamics of politics intertwined with the human element set him apart. Personally, I will miss his ability to foster unity, transcending the confines of mere politics.
As we bid farewell to this exceptional leader, I offer my prayers that God, in His boundless mercy, forgives any shortcomings and embraces all the virtuous deeds Alhaji Aribidesi undertook as acts of worship. May he be granted a place in Aljanna Firdaous, the highest abode of paradise, on the Day of Judgment.
To the bereaved family, I implore God to be their rock of support, to meet their needs, and to guide them through every endeavor they undertake. Amin.
