SENATOR BUHARI CONDEMNS OLOKA ATTACKS
….SYMPATHIZES WITH FAMILY OVER LOSS OF LOVED ONES
The Senator representing the people of Oyo North, Dr. Buhari Abdulfatai Ph.D has condemned the banditry attacks that claimed the lives of five staffers of the Nigerian National Park at Oloka in Oriire Local Government area of the district.
Senator Buhari in a press release issued in the early hours of today and made available to journalists described the sad occurrence as very unfortunate and inhuman.
While the lawmaker identified the attack as a calculated attempt by the bandits, he called on security agencies in the area to unravel the identities of those behind the wicked act.
Senator Buhari who charged the people in the council area to be vigilant and report any suspected movement of stranged people to security agencies charged Oyo State government to quickly wade in to thwart further operations of bandits in the State.
Senator Buhari sympathized with family of the deceased while he assured that efforts to ensure safety of lives and properties of people in the local government, Oyo North and Oyo State at large shall be put in place by government at all levels.
He prayed for the souls of the departed staffers of Nigerian National Park, Oloka to rest in peace and that God shall endow the families with fortitude to bear the loss.
