Distinguished Senator Dr AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari, the lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District in the Nigeria Senate, has condoled with the Aare Musulumi of Yoruba, Edo and Delta States, Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola, over the demise of one of his wives, who died on Thursday 28th October, 2021 in Ibadan.
This was made known in a release through the lawmaker’s Media Office and made available to journalists in Ibadan.
According to the Chairman, Senate Committee On Land Transport, ‘I received with shock the death of Alhaja Funke Akinola, one of the wives of Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola, Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland. Edo and Delta States who died on Thursday, October 28th, in Ibadan.
” Alhaja Funke Akinola was an outstanding and supporting wife to the Aare and gave her all in service to humanity.
The 2023 Oyo Gubernatorial Hopeful prayed for Allah to grant the deceased Aljanah Fridaus.
” It is my prayer that Almighty Allah comfort Aare and the immediate and extended family she left behind, and grant her soul eternal rest in Aljanah Fridaos.
” My deepest condolences to the family and others who are bound to feel the loss of Alhaja Funke Akinola, the consistent performing senator sympathized.
