Senator Buhari Condoles With Igbetians Over Death Of Onigbeti.
The lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District in the Upper Chamber, Distinguished Senator Dr AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari, has condoled with the good people of Igbeti over the death of the Onigbeti of IgbetiLand, Oba Emmanuel Oyekan Oyebisi, Afasegbejo III who joined his ancestors a few weeks ago at the age of seventy seven (77).
A release from the Media Office of the lawmaker and made available to the press read thus :
” This morning, I stopped over at the ancient city of Igbeti to condole with the families of late Onigbeti of Igbetiland, Oba Emmanuel Oyekan Oyebisi, Afasegbejo III who joined his ancestors at the ripe age of 77 few weeks ago.
” The late monarch is a visionary king whose reign brought peace, unity and progress to Igbeti town. He will be sorely missed by Igbeti people and everyone who holds the departed king dearly.
It is my prayers that God Almighty will rest the soul of Kabiyesi and comfort the families he left behind. Amen”, BAF, as the 2023 Oyo State Gubernatorial Hopeful under the All Progressives Congress (APC) is fondly called, posited.
The legislator thereafter proceeded to certain places in Oke Ogun for some crucial functions.
