Senator Buhari Distributes 1200 Fertilizers To Farmers In Oyo North

In other to boost food production and food security in Oyo North Senatorial District, the lawmaker representing the district, Senator Buhari AbdulFatai Ph.D, earlier today distributed 1200 NPK Fertilizers to some selected individuals and groups of farmers in the District.
At the event which was held at the Ogbomoso High School residence of the Senator, the 1200 NPK fertilizers was distributed to two hundred and forty (240) beneficiaries (farmers) with each of the farmers getting five (5) bags of the NPK fertilizer.
Hon Adedeji Abiodun Adeyemo was spoke on behalf of the lawmaker, appreciated the good gestures of the senator in his quest to boost food security in the district.
In his words, ” we thank God for giving us Senator Fatai Buhari in Oyo North Senatorial District. The progress of the district and bringing dividends of democracy to his people has always been his priority. We carefully selected the beneficiaries to ensure that real farmers got these fertilizers so that they can use it to boost food production in the district, and not to sell it. I assure you of more dividends of democracy to the district through Senator Fatai Buhari on regular basis, more than before. Please, let us make proper use of these fertilizers so that the intended results for this event could be achieved. I , on behalf of Senator Fatai Buhari, appreciate you for coming and I wish you safe journey back to your various destinations”.
Also present at the event was Hon Tunde Oloyede, the Oyo North APC Senatorial Chairman, Hon Oladimeji Atanda (Azuzu), Engr Abolade Akanni, some local government party and ward chairmen, party members from across the 13 local government areas of Oyo North and members of the public.
Recalled that on Saturday 13th November, 2023, the same event was held at the same venue while series of trainings have been held for farmers in the district on different aspects of agriculture practices.
