Senator Buhari Rejoices With The 42nd Olubadan,Oba Dr Senator ‘Lekan Balogun On His Coronation

Distinguished Senator Dr AbdulFatai Omotayo Buhari,the lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District in the Upper Chamber, has congratulated the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland , Oba Dr Senator Moshood Olalekan Balogun on his coronation, today Friday 11th March, 2023.

In his statement through his Media Office and made available exclusively to premiumnewsnig.com, the legislator implored the people of Ibadan and Oyo State in general to rally round the monarch so that his reign would usher in more growth and development.

The release read thus ;

” Today, I rejoice with Oba Dr. Senator Mohood Ishola Olalekan Balogun , Alli Okunmade II on his coronation and presentation of staff of office as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland.

I express my heartfelt gratitude to God for the life of the new monarch, it is a fulfilled one, worthy of emulation to younger ones. Oba Lekan Balogun has been part of Olubadan-in-Council for more than four decades and I am sure Ibadanland will experience rapid development, peaceful coexistence and unity of purpose during the reign of the Paramount ruler.

I admonish the people of Ibadanland and Oyo State at large to rally round the newly coronated monarch so that his reign shall also feature monumental achievements that will be second to none in the history of the ancient city. I enjoin the new Olubadan to sustain his admirable human relations with open door policy so that useful advice and suggestions that will place him in the highest pedestal in the comity of traditional rulers in Nigeria and abroad are taken from his subjects.

Once again, i congratulate the Olubadan-in-Council, Ibadan Council of Indigenes, technocrats, artisans, market men and women on the successful showcase of Kabiyesi Olubadan while praying that his reign shall be peaceful and beneficial to all and sundry.
