The unending crisis rocking the Oyo State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State took another ugly dimension as the deputy governor’s Petrol Station and bakery was destroyed.
Dayream Petrol Station, Agugu in Ibadan, the property housing the gas station and bakery, belonging to the wife of the deputy governor, Prof Amdalat Olaniyan, was destroyed yesterday, Saturday 16th October, 2021, by suspected thugs of the transport union, headed by Mukaila Lamidi known as Auxillary.
The ugly incident occurred few hours after political thugs disorganized and injured many members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) at the venue of a parallel congress held at Jogor Center and over seventy two (72) vehicles damaged.
In the same vein, the deputy governor approached the Police and the Department of State Security to report over threat to his life.
The deputy governor approached the security outfits and pointed Mukaila Lamidi, known as Auxillary, Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of the Park Management System (PMS) as being responsible for trailing his convoy on countless occasions.
On why the deputy governor did not report the issue to the governor as the chief security officer in the state, the deputy governor said he is the affected person and to him the police is the right place to report such issue.
Olaniyan’s aide de camp, after about three hours at the station wrote to report the several trailings of the deputy governor by some yet to be known individuals.
Auxiliary, on invitation, denied the allegation and said Olaniyan is a father to him.
According to auxillary, ” Engineer Olaniyan is my baba “.
Investigation is still ongoing while messages sent to the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr. Osifeso is yet to be replied.
