Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso have commiserated with the family of the deceased monarch, Oba (Dr) Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade III JP CON CFR, the Soun of Ogbomosoland, which sad event took place in the early hours of 12th December, 2021.
This was made known in the condolence message that was signed by the General Manager of the Club, Mr Oyeleye Oyekunle, and made available to the Press through the Club Media Office.
The former Media Officer of the club described the late King as a legend who would be sorely missed by Nigeria and Ogbomoso people in particular.
“We are shocked by the demise of our amiable Kabiyesi, Oba (Dr) Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade III, JP, CON, CFR, who transited at the age of 95 years.
‘Nigeria will miss him greatly and Ogbomoso people in general for his exceptional leadership role .
The release further read, “He’s a legend, a unique man whose exploits will never be erased from history. He did so much for his domain and people. There is no doubt he has etched his name in gold.”
The Former Administrative Secretary of the Club prayed for God to uphold the family and grant the Ogbomosos the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
