A call has gone to youths in Oyo State to discard misinformation against the second term ambition of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu but give him maximum support for re-election as 2027 general elections draw nearer.






The leading aspirant in the struggle for governorship ticket under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) and Senator representing Oyo North, Dr. Buhari Abdulfatai made this call in his address presented at the end of a three days capacity building for youths in his senatorial district held at Igbo Community Hall, Opposite Amotekun Office, Maryland Primary School Area, Ogbomoso today.
At the end of the capacity building that started on Wednesday 15th April and ended on 17th of April, 2026, the lawmaker admonished youths to put their newly acquired knowledge into practice so that they can all become economically independent.
He pointed out that President Tinubu has done a lot for Nigerian youths through various empowerment programmes where they are trained and given grants to commence both small and medium scale businesses while advising that they should invest the take off grant of N100,000 given to each of them so that it can be blessed and multiplied.
Declaring that to whom much is given, much is expected, Senator Buhari charged the 120 participants who were selected from all the 13 local government areas of the senatorial district to reciprocate the good gesture from President Tinubu by committing their time and energy to his second term victory.
He added that if not for President Tinubu that created enabling environment for the capacity building, participants at the just concluded training would not have been such lucky.
The Legislator also declared that another capacity building, third of its kind in the month of April, 2026 where another 120 youths selected across Oyo North will be holding at Igboho in Oorelope Local Government area next week.
