The lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial District in the Upper Chamber has again showered encomium on his late boss, mentor and leader, His Excellency, Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi, the Architect of Modern Oyo State, describing him as legend who stood for integrity, purpose and unwavering dedication to the betterment of Nigeria.
Senator Buhari stated this at the 6th Annual Senator Ajimobi Roundtable which was organized by the Senator Abiola Ajimobi Foundation at the Senator Abiola Ajimobi Resource Centre, Institute of Peace and Strategic Studies PSS, at the prestigious University of Ibadan on Saturday, 16th December, 2023.
The Chairman, Senate Committee On Aviation was full of joy seeing the coming together of great minds to preach the ideals of the late Ajimobi, and his vision for a sustainable and prosperous Oyo State and Nigeria at large.

The lead paper, “Re-Engineering Nigeria for Sustainable Development,” was eloquently presented by Professor Isaac Olawale Albert of the University of Ibadan, adding academic rigor to our discussions on the nation’s future.
It was heartening to witness the convergence of minds dedicated to the ideals Senator Ajimobi championed throughout his illustrious life. His vision for a sustainable and prosperous Oyo state and the country at large remains an enduring inspiration.

The annual Senator Ajimobi Roundtable which started in 2018 and being organized by the Senator Abiola Ajimobi Foundation has been an annual event where leaders from all fields of life converge to deliberate on how integrity, purposeful and responsive leadership can be fostered in Nigeria and the world at large.
